Novo Nordisk has launched new disposable prefilled insulin pen, FlexTouch in the UK, which will be available with the company's insulin analogue NovoRapid (insulin aspart).
FlexTouch, an insulin injection containing 300 units of insulin features a spring which enables administration of insulin at any dose (from 1 to 80 units) with a touch of a button as it absorbs the force of the injection.
The device doses in 1 unit increments, from 1 to 80 units and is designed for use with both NovoTwist and NovoFine needles.
Novo Nordisk managing director Viggo Birch FlexTouch is designed to benefit both patients living with diabetes and the healthcare professionals who are treating them.
