The Maharashtra Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has found 15 drugs as not-of-standard during the routine random inspections carried out by the agency in the month of September. During the month of August, the FDA had found nine drugs a not-of-standard.
In September, manufacturers from the tax-free state of Himachal Pradesh with four, Gujarat and Uttaranchal with three each not-of-standard drugs accounts for the major share.
Well-known drug manufacturers like Ascent Medical Technologies for normafix infusion set, Gnosis Pharmaceuticals for cefuroxime axetil tablets IP, Endolabs for frusemide tablets IP, MGM Pharma for M-FE syrup and Lucent Biotech for onset-4 tablets also figure in the list.
The highlights of Maharashtra FDA's list for the samples less than the permissible limits includes: Healthcare Formulation (NID-XT suspension), Rhombus Pharma (rombpire tablets), Elfin Drugs (onlife gold), Laborate Pharmaceuticals (multi berry syrup), Ravenbhel Healthcare (Value thral readymix 200 suspension), Endolabs (frusemide tablets IP), Optima Healthcare (JKSVIT injection), Aryan Pharmaceuticals (multiron multivitamin, multimineral & L-Lysine syrup), MGM Pharma (M-FE syrup) and D R Johns Lab (clear breath capsules).
According to the latest data released by the Maharashtra FDA, out of 15 such drug samples four were from Himachal Pradesh, three each from Gujarat and Uttaranchal, two each from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, one from Jammu & Kashmir.
Other companies in the list include: Ascent Medical Technologies, Healthcare Formulation, Rhombus Pharma from Gujarat, Elfin Drugs, Gnosis Pharmaceuticals, Laborate Pharmaceuticals, Medcare Remedies from Himachal Pradesh, Ravenbhel Healthcare from Jammu & Kashmir, Endolabs and Optima Healthcare from Madhya Pradesh, Aryan Pharmaceuticals and MGM Pharma from Thane, Maharashtra and Acacia Biotech, D R John's Lab and Lucent Biotech from Uttaranchal.
The state FDA routinely picks up random samples of drugs from chemists and druggists and send for testing. The department will soon issue show cause notices to these companies.
I was haven herpes 2 on my private part. I have had them for about 2 and a bit years.
